Manchester City have filed another arbitration challenge against the Premier League ‘s sponsorship rules.

The club’s lawyers have informed the Premier League that they have submitted the case to arbitration after the Premier League amended the Club Sponsorship (APT) rules after a long-standing dispute.

The ATP rules are designed to prevent owners from overcharging clubs, and an arbitrator initially ruled that certain elements of the rules were unlawful.

However, the Premier League quickly moved to amend several sections of the rules, and the rules were eventually approved by the league’s clubs.

Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United tried to support City’s challenge of the rules, but the vote was unanimous 16 to 4.

They also say the fact that clubs can continue to benefit from shareholder loans with only the interest rate subject to a fair market value assessment and can obtain the full value of the loan before such an assessment has taken place is also unjust.

The new rules will continue to be in place while the legal challenge rumbles on. No timeframe has yet been set for a hearing, เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา Sport understands.

At the time, Simon Cliff, City’s legal counsel, raised the possibility of having to resort to the law again if the rules were rushed through, and he has followed through. The

new rules remain in force while the legal battle continues, and the report says there is no clear timeframe for a hearing.
