Luis Enrique Dedicates Ligue 1 Title to PSG Fans, Goals Are to Play Beautiful Football and Win Trophies

Paris Saint-Germain won the Ligue 1 title by beating Angers 1-0 at home in the 28th league match on Saturday with 6 games remaining and leaving Monaco with 1 point, making the team from the capital lift the trophy for the 13th time with a record of 28 matches, 23 wins, 5 draws and still unbeaten, scoring 80 goals and conceding 26 goals.

Head coach Luis Enrique was surrounded by players and staff and thrown into the air in celebration.

“The club has achieved a lot, the aim is to play beautiful football and win trophies,” the 54-year-old said.

“The fans are very proud of us and we give them this title. เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย Throughout the season, this team has shown something. It is a great honour for us that fans other than PSG fans like our style of play.”

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the club’s owner, stressed that the Spanish coach is more focused on the players than on the individuals, which is very different from a few years ago.

“We are incredibly proud to have won the Ligue 1 title, one of the strongest leagues in Europe, and it was a special feeling to win it without ever losing. Congratulations to the players and the staff.”

“This is a great moment for all our fans, both in France and abroad, and for the city of Paris.”

“Everyone in the football world around the world has seen and admired the development of this team in this new era. Our philosophy is based on cooperation above all else. The star of the team is the team and it is shining brightly. We will cherish these precious moments together as a family and with our great fans. The season is long, we must continue to work hard and stay focused, match by match, fighting for everything in every competition until the last second of the season.”

Next up, PSG face Aston Villa in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday, a trophy they have never won before.
